If electromobility becomes established in the future, it will no longer be enough to place individual charging stations in the landscape. At least that’s how the Bavarian state government sees it. It has therefore started a funding program for larger charging parks.
In any case, the first call for funding as part of the “Publicly accessible charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Bavaria 2.0” program was a complete success. “By deliberately promoting the development of e-charging parks with at least ten charging points per charging location in the first call for funding, we are already positioning ourselves strategically with a view to mass electromobility,” said Hubert Aiwanger, Bavaria’s Minister for Economic Affairs and Tourism. The classic single charging station alone will no longer meet future requirements.
