Army seized 130 kilos of cocaine in a truck with gondola in San Luis Potosí

Agents of the army arrested two individuals and seized around 134 kilograms of cocaine that were hidden in compartments of a tractor with gondola, who was detained at the military post of San Luis Potosi.

According to the report of the Secretary of National Defense (Sedena), the seizure occurred on January 25 in the municipality Villa Arista, an hour north of the capital and still far from the border with U.S, the main market for the cartels.

The interception was not accidental, the military had already developed intelligence work to establish review checkpoints in order to secure weapons. However, they seized the narcotic after checking the back of the unit, where there were three hidden sites.

Derived from criminal flagrante delicto, military personnel arrested 2 people, seizing the drug and the vehicle, making them available to the competent authorities.
