Bühring remains at the helm of Stadtwerke Speyer for three more years

The city of Speyer has extended the contract with Wolfgang Bühring, managing director of the municipal utility for a further three years. The current contract of the 65-year-old Westphalian ends in August of this year, now he will continue to manage the fortunes of Stadtwerke Speyer (SWS) until the end of August 2025.

According to the local press, Mayor Stefanie Seiler (SPD) cites “the good and trusting cooperation” as the main reason for continuing the successful cooperation. Above all, Bühring appreciates the “politically excellent tailwind” that he receives for his work.
