The body of baby Tadeo, found in a prison in Puebla, has already been buried for the second time

After his body was clandestinely exhumed from a cemetery in the mayor’s office of Iztapalapa, in Mexico City, and later appeared inside a prison located in the state of Puebla, to later be handed over to his parents, this Sunday afternoon he was buried again.

In a private act and in a different pantheon, the parents of the little boy, who was barely three months old, asked to please respect the great pain that burying their son for the second time represents for them.

The Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City (FGJCDMX) endorsed its commitment to provide economic, legal, economic, psychological and social support to relatives of little Tadeo.

“FGJCDMX provides accompaniment to the family of a minor, whose body was found in Puebla, and expands the investigation,” he said.

Regarding the investigation still under way, the Prosecutor’s Office pointed out that on the same day of the transfer, ministerial personnel, experts and detectives from the Investigative Police (PDI) carried out an inspection in the holy field from which he was taken.

During the operation, he explained, local personnel were interviewed, with the aim of delving into the events that occurred – this, in support of the Puebla State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), whose prosecutor, Gilberto Higuera, asserted that identified the person who deposited the baby in the dumpster.

Likewise, the poblano organ ruled out that any functional member of the body has been extracted after unearthing it; He clarified that the wound in his abdomen corresponded to that of an operation carried out as a result of the intestinal disease that caused his death on January 5.

“It was noted that he kept all his organs in place and that he had a 7-centimeter surgical wound with his original stitches.”

The outrageous discovery of January 10 happened in the area of ​​the talacheros, as the prisoners who help the custodians to empty the waste are known. The youngest – a few days old – wore a hat and had blood on it. In addition, in the abdomen he had an appendix surgery, so the first suspicions pointed to the fact that it would have been used to introduce drugs.

However, this line was ruled out precisely because the procedure he had was a consequence of the same intestinal illness that the minor suffered from, which cost him his life. Although there is another reason that would be more solid, due to the type of practices that are carried out inside the prison, and that indicates that the body would have been stolen to carry out practices related to santeria or witchcraft.

From the news of the discovery, the case was attracted by the Reinserta organization, whose founder Saskia Niño de Rivera, urged Ernestina Godoy, CDMX Attorney General, to report on “how a baby could have been stolen from a hospital or morgue so that It would end up in a dump in Puebla.”

For its part, on January 15, the National Human Rights Commission (CNDH) asked the FGE of Puebla to collaborate with the investigation and asked to reinforce surveillance controls.

In Mexico, 822 children were killed during the pandemic, but the case of this little boy has been one of the ones that has shocked the country the most. The memory of what happened to the girl Angela, abandoned in a suitcase in 2015, suggested that it was another brutality against a minor.
