Electric cars are becoming increasingly popular with German consumers. This is one of the results of a study by the management consultancy Deloitte. While the number of respondents who would choose an electric car as their next car fell last year, it rose significantly in the current survey.
Around 40 percent would choose a hybrid vehicle the next time they buy a car. A year ago the figure was 26 percent. The proportion of those who would prefer a purely electric car has increased from six percent a year ago to 15 percent now.
