Muñoz is pursuing a master’s degree in Public Policies and Institutionalization of the Gender Perspective, at the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (Flacso).

In addition, she has a master’s degree in Public Administration from the Universidad del Valle de México (UVM) and, among other public positions, she held that of local deputy.

In the professional field, she worked as a reporter and news anchor for eight years. Later, she served as coordinator of Social Communication of the government of Aguascalientes in 2011, during the mandate of the then mayor Lorena Martínez.

MC claims to be a more solid option than Morena, who will have Nora Ruvalcaba Gámez as the standard-bearer, and the opposition parties PAN, PRI and PRD, allies in several states in the “Va por México” coalition, but who have not yet presented their candidate.

After making it known that the actor and businessman Robert Palazuelos registered as a candidate candidate for the governorship of Quintana Roo by Citizen Movement (MC), the party members have shown disagreement, since they considered that there are “better profiles”.

Through her social networks, Senator Laura Ballestero indicated that it does not match the record of the black diamond, So he assured that The position requires a full time person. However, he said that Movimiento Ciudadano is strong because the militants have the right to differ.

“If I put or removed MC candidates, my job would be different, and not that of public service from the local, and this requires full time. I do not agree with the record of Palazuelos as a candidate for anything. I differ. And that right to dissent makes a Movement strong”

For his part, the party’s National Secretary of Social Movements, Luis Fernandez, said that he did not share the record of Palazuelos as a pre-candidate for the governorship.

In his message, Fernández declared that he does not support “neither as a militant nor as a secretary” the Palazuelos registry, since he affirmed that there are better profiles within the ranks in the entity to compete.

While, Rodrigo Lamb, member of the National Council of Citizen Movement, disagreed through his Twitter account, since, like Luis Fernández, he maintained that there are better profiles that can carry the position.

“As a militant and as a citizen interested in us achieving a social democratic position, it seems to me a mistake. I will continue promoting my positions and ideas for the party and country always “

Roberto Palazuelos arrived at his publication, who thanked his opinion and position, however, He stated that his work “will speak for itself”.
