With the presidential election just around the corner, the whole world is buzzing as if everything depends on the votes of the young people. It is talked about as if a rare phenomenon is taking place where more than 10% of young people change their candidates every day. When narrowed down to a specific age group, it is difficult to find any content pointing to a sampling error approaching 10%. What we have to think about is not public opinion that runs wild every day. Even if the running public opinion is close to the truth, what it is saying is not the effect of Lee Jun-seok’s far-right propaganda populism, but rather confusion about the direction of the Korean society.
