Through his Twitter account, the governor of the State of Mexico, Alfredo del Mazo Maza, reported that he gave positive to COVID-19 and will remain isolated, although he will remain attentive to the relevant matters of the entity from his home.

He notified that on the afternoon of this Thursday, January 20, he received confirmation of his contagion; He also stated that up to now has had mild symptoms, for which he hopes to get out of the disease soon and be able to resume his activities as local president. Finally, in his message, he asked citizens to continue taking care of themselves on a personal and family level.

“I want to inform you that I received confirmation of being positive for #Covid_19mx. I will remain isolated and remain attentive to the relevant matters of the state. I have mild symptoms, I hope to get out soon and resume activities. I reiterate the call to continue caring for our families”
