Colombia vs. Honduras, live: Andrés Colorado debuts and scores 2-1 for the Tricolor

The Colombian Football Federation (FCF) announced the starting eleven chosen by Reinaldo Rueda in the national team to face the friendly match against Honduras, in order to analyze national football players, except Juan Fernando Quintero, who may be useful in the face of the upcoming qualifying matches, against Peru, on January 28, and Argentina, on February 1.

The match, at the DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, United States, will start at 5:30 p.m.

Minute 90+3: Commitment ends: Colombia wins 2-1 and players like Yaser Asprilla, Hárold Preciado, Fredy Hinestroza and Stiven Vega leave good feelings.

Minute 84: Preciado and Stiven Vega bombard Honduras, but the rival goalkeeper shows his reflexes and avoids the third fall of his goal.

Minute 79: Andrés Llinás and Andrés Mosquera Marmolejo enter for Yéimar Gómez and José Luis Chunga, respectively.

68th minute: Andrés Felipe Román and Álvaro Angulo, right and left backs, come in to replace Candelo and Borja.

66th minute: GOOOOOOL! Andrés Colorado scores the second goal for Colombia after a pass from Yimmi Chará after overflowing on the right.

Minute 63: Yaser, with a pure dribble and a shot from medium distance, about to put the Colombian team ahead again.

Minute 52: From the penalty spot, as a result of a foul that was sanctioned against Yerson Candelo, Kevin Arriaga scored his first goal with Honduras and tied it. José Luis Chunga stretches towards the wrong post.

Minute 48: Candelo, close to scoring from a free kick, but the rival goalkeeper deflects the ball.

Minute 46: Andres Colorado, champion of the BetPlay League 2021 II with Deportivo Cali, debuts in the Colombian national team. He entered as a substitute for Daniel Giraldo, today a Junior de Barranquilla player, as one of the holding midfielders.

Minute 45+1: Finish the first part of the engagement.

Minute 42: Quintero, apparently due to physical discomfort, leaves the playing field. He was replaced by the young promise of coffee football, Yaser Asprilla, who, at the age of 18, was signed by Watford. It is yet to be defined in which team he will play on loan before arriving at the Premier League.

30th minute: Kevin Arriaga, about to give the draw to those led by Hernán Darío Roll Gómez.

Minute 15: Juanfer’s new option, through a free kick. The ball penetrated the barrier but the lack of power in the shot helped López control it.

Minute 10: Great goal! Juan Fernando Quintero breaks the national team’s streak of five games without scoring a goal. He did it after an assist as with the hand of Harold Preciado, gunner of the 2021 Completion Tournament. The ’10’, out of first intention, sent the ball to the upper left corner of the portico guarded by Luis López Fernández.

Minute 2: Yerson Candelo, usually right winger, but used by Reinaldo Rueda as a winger, overflows down the wing and launches a cross into the area that Miguel Ángel Borja almost converted into a goal.
