Madrid, Jan 16 (EFE).- The Spanish Paula Badosa, after her victory in the Sydney tournament, appears in the top 5 of the WTA world ranking by climbing 3 places and settling in sixth with 4,264 points. The podium remains the same with the Australian Ashleigh Barty in first position, the Belarusian Ariana Sabalenka in second and very close, 273 points behind her, the Spanish Garbiñe Muguruza. The victims of the rise of Badosa in the top 10 are the Greek Maria Sakkari, now eighth, and the Polish Iga Swiatek who occupies the ninth position.
