Australian government celebrates ruling against Djokovic

The Australian government celebrated on Sunday that the Federal Court rejected the appeal of tennis world number 1, Novak Djokovic, which leads to his expulsion.

“Australia’s strong border protection policy has kept us safe during the Covid-19 pandemic,” Immigration Minister Alex Hawke said in a statement. “Australians have made great sacrifices to get to this point and the Morrison government is firmly committed to protecting that position.”
