A week after the Ministry of Health (Ssa) announced that Morelos and 18 other states would be “green” (low risk of COVID-19 contagion) at the epidemiological traffic light, this Friday the entity of “eternal spring” announced that as of January 17 it will revert to “yellow” color (moderate risk).

This was declared by Governor Cuauhtémoc Blanco through his Twitter account, where he recognized a considerable increase in positive cases, for which he invited the population of Morelos to “not lower their guard.”

“In Morelos, health comes first. As a protective measure against the increase in infections, our state returns to a yellow light with the restrictions that this implies. Let’s not let our guard down! We are still going through a pandemic and the health of many people is still at risk.”
