The Grizzlies beat the Lakers and score 9 victories

LOS ANGELES (AP) – The Memphis Grizzlies Grizzlies set a franchise record with their ninth straight win, in which Ja Morant added 16 points and a spectacular block to beat the Los Angeles Lakers 127-119 on Sunday.

Desmond Bane added 23 points Jaren Jackson Jr. added 21 and Memphis won its 12th game in 13 road games.

Morant’s block came in the first quarter, when he jumped from behind Avery Bradley trying to lay a layup, caught the ball with both hands and bounced it off the glass.

Morant also dunked into an alley-oop with Bane in the third quarter and came close to hitting his head with the rim, having been left on the bench during the game against the Clippers the day before with a sore thigh.
