Many school leavers have to make a decision after leaving school: internship, training, school, gap year, FSJ, work and travel, au pair, FÖJ, BFD or IJFD? The range of options is at least as great as the uncertainty as to what can be the right thing.

Current surveys show that around ⅓ of the first-year students leave the university without a degree.1 The situation is similar in the area of training – around ¼ of the trainees drop out there.2 The number of unreported cases not recorded here is, however, much higher. Every drop out of studies or training costs not only the state, but also students or trainees and parents a lot of time, money and nerves. In addition, breaking off is not beneficial for the self-confidence of young people and can lead, among other things, to massive fear of the future.

One possible solution is individual career planning based on professional aptitude diagnostics. The aim of this professional orientation is an optimal person-job-fit, which also has a positive effect on the mental health of the future employees of tomorrow. Because: Those who are up to their job and feel safe in their environment live more healthily.
