This Thursday, November 25, Ricardo Monreal, president of the Political Coordination Board (Jucopo) of the Senate of the Republic, confirmed that the legislative chamber received the appointment of the federal executive that nominates Victoria Rodriguez as the ideal profile to be the next governor to the Bank of Mexico (Banxico).

Through social networks, the also leader of the bank of National Regeneration Movement (Brunette) in the Chamber of Senators released an image of the document from the Interior Ministry (Segob), which specifies the intention for Rodríguez Ceja to head the central bank’s governing board.

“The Senate of the Republic received from President López Obrador the appointment of Mtra. Victoria Rodríguez Ceja as a member of the Banxico Governing Board. We will initiate the parliamentary ratification procedure, as always, with economic and financial responsibility “
