Coronavirus.- Uzbekistan approves inoculating a third dose against COVID-19 and says the process will be voluntary


The Uzbekistan authorities have approved this Monday that Uzbek citizens receive a third dose of the coronavirus vaccine and have stressed that the process will be voluntary, with the aim of increasing immunization against the pandemic.

The office of the chief sanitary inspector of Uzbekistan has stressed through a message on its Telegram account that since November 17, all people who have the complete guideline can present themselves to receive this third dose.

The Uzbek Ministry of Health has indicated this same Monday that during the last day there have been 242 cases and three deaths, so the total figures amount to 191,576 and 1,378, respectively, with 188,123 people recovered from COVID-19.

The agency has also highlighted that “in recent days infections have increased throughout the world” and added that “the situation is particularly dangerous in European countries”, although it has stressed that “the epidemiological situation has changed for the better “in Uzbekistan.

“This is no reason to be complacent. On the contrary, to draw the proper conclusions from the complex pandemic in the world, we must all strictly comply with the quarantine rules and be fully vaccinated against the disease. The vaccine is the only remedy,” he said. riveted.
