‘Korea Education Donation Fair’ opened

The Ministry of Education and the Korea Science and Creativity Foundation will hold the ‘2021 Korea Education Donation Expo’ online from November 23rd to December 2nd. The Education Donation Expo has been held annually since 2012 to support educational donation experience activities of companies and public institutions to create an atmosphere of educational donation. This year, under the theme of ’10 years of educational donation, a 10-day future journey together,’ it is operated based on an extended virtual world operating system (Metaverse), and approximately 100 organizations participate.
English Basic Learning Textbook ’15 Minute Phonics’

The Seoul Office of Education has developed and distributed ’15 Minute Phonics’, a textbook for teaching basic English skills. 15 Minute Phonics is a book created by teachers belonging to the Basic Education Support Group for the secondary school. It is applicable to all elementary, middle and high school students and can be downloaded as a file from the website of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education.
Free viewing service for students and their families
The National Baekdudaegan Arboretum (Chunyang-myeon, Bonghwa-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do) will provide free admission to the arboretum for students and their families until November 30th. It is open to students and their families for the 2022 academic year, and can be viewed free of charge by presenting the admission ticket and family relationship certificate at the arboretum ticket office. Baekdudaegan Arboretum has provided free viewing services to medical staff in relation to COVID-19, and this is the first time for test takers and their families. An official from the Arboretum said, “We want to provide time for exam preparations and the prolonged Corona 19 to provide time for test takers and their families to rest and heal.”
