Sports writing, Nov 20 (EFE) .- PSV Eindhoven stormed the leadership of the League of the Netherlands after adding against Vitesse (2-0) their third win in a row, at the expense of Ajax, which on Sunday will visit Waalwijk to complete the thirteenth day.
Roger Schmidt’s team, Real Sociedad’s rival in the Europa League, has taken advantage of Ajax’s pothole, which has dropped four points in the last two rounds.
PSV got the duel on track against Vitesse in the 19th minute with a great shot from outside the box by Ibrahim Sangaré that beat goalkeeper Markus Schubert.
After half an hour he signed the second goal through the Portuguese Bruma, who took advantage of a good cross from the Brazilian Carlos Vinicius.
PSV is the provisional leader of the competition. They now have three points ahead of Ajax, who will play at the Waalwijk on Sunday.
