Metro CDMX: service was resumed at three stations on Line 9

The Metro CDMX Collective Transportation System reported through his Twitter account that line 9 service was restored.

“#AvisoMetro: After carrying out work on Line 9 tracks, to replace an insulating block. All stations offer normal service. #MovilidadCDMX, they announced ”.

Before the fully restored service was announced, the Head of Government, Claudia Sheinbaum He indicated in his Twitter account the time in which the trains from the closed stations would return to work: “The director of the STC (Guillermo Calderón Aguilera) informs me that it is expected that in half an hour the restore service”.

Suspension of service at stations Puebla, Pantitlán and Sports City Line 9 was also announced on social networks, the trains only provided service from the Velódromo station to Tacubaya because the SCT workers carried out the review of the energy supply.

Due to the alleged electrical failure, those who were traveling on the trains were detained for 10 minutes and were later evicted from the facilities. Through Twitter the users started reporting the failures and complaints.

The Twitter user @IllescasCJ expressed accompanied by a video where he shows a way turning on: “It worries me the fact that lately Metro Line 9 has had quite a few energy problems, since in a few months it will be the line that will be subjected to the most user load due to the future closure of L1 ″.

While the user @gina_cos shared: “How tremendous disaster in the morning line b impossible to board 2hrs late to get to my work when I usually do 25 min and no explanation of what happened now line 9 once again this week …. Very bad service ”.

Also, netizens wondered about what was happening in the CDMX Metro: like @ Alberto05779010 who shared, “Camará !!!! So far this week the service of line 9 of the CDMX Metro has been suspended three times:

The first time was the past November 8th where they reported an electrical failure and for more than 40 minutes, the Metro CMDX users were stranded.

The second suspension this week was on Tuesday, November 9, the service from Pantitlán to Ciudad Deportiva was closed for several hours. Hundreds of people had to move to their destinations by alternate routes in the Passenger Transport Network (RTP) units.

“There is a high influx in the Line 9, the shipment of empty units to stations with greater demand is coordinated. Use the emergency levers with responsibility and only if necessary ”, expressed the Collective Transport System in its social networks.

The same stations were closed: Pantitlán, Puebla and Ciudad Deportiva due to the same situation of a failure in the electricity supply, later the SCT spread the normal operation of the brown line on Twitter: Pantitlán to Sports City. Line 9 offers service in all its stations ”, spread the STC”.
