The federal judge of La Plata, Ernesto Kreplak, ordered the preservation of 66 graves to investigate the disappearance of López. It is the same place where the Buenos Aires police chief during the dictatorship put a commissioner in charge of disposing of the corpses of the disappeared, passing them off as “killed in clashes.”
