Wall Street Opens Ragged Before Fed Meeting; Tesla slows progress after record streak

Nov 2 (Reuters) – US stocks were bumpy on Tuesday on investor caution ahead of this week’s meeting of the Federal Reserve, which is expected to announce the start of downsizing its bond purchases.

* The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 21.27 points, or 0.06%, at 35,935.11. The S&P 500 fell 0.33 points, or 0.01%, to 4,613.34 units and the Nasdaq Composite was down 11.93 points, or 0.08%, to 15,583.99 units.
